Direct downloads

Small thing, but isn't it only illegal if the content of the download is illegal or copyrighted in some way? Linking to content that's meant for free diststribution shouldn't be a problem right?

but i'm pretty sure things like the devil may cry soundtrack are copyrighted and that was on that site
maybe some of those games weren't fully copyrighted, but i'm not gonna check each individual one

Yeah it's best to be safe about stuff like that.

well if anyone can clarify i wouldn't mind heearing it
but personally i think copyright law even changes with country
so i'm guessing with us having users in 3 continents it would be too much hassle to think about

Well all I know is the Forum-Motion TOS says nothing about direct downloads. Only piracy/hacking/illegal distribution of copyrighted material/etc.

Saying no direct downloads is an easy way of ensuring that.

Just use a Media Convertor,if you can find the song on YouTube,then you can convert it into an MP3 file.
