| Tekken is probably one of the only ones where they matter. Otherwise, no. | |

| Nope Not unless it's a character dying story...especially a character I liked. It usually means that that fighter is gone for good unless the makers do a special game or something. | |

| you actually think its good though?
the only game storyline which i found vaguely interesting was MK but even that wasn't particularly interesting
the fact they keep pulling out older people in the mishima family line out of each others asses always annoyed me about tekken and there always seems to be extra children popping up to

I do when it comes to fighting games like Street Fighter, the King of Fighters, and Soul Calibur.

| It's not a great story but Tekken's is the only one I follow and care about.
I get the feeling DOA actually had some big epic story behind it all, but the games do such a shit job of telling any semblance of a story I just can't care.

DOA is funny it clearly hasa storyline it just reveals it very badly Yeah. It's annoying, because the way DOA4 did it's endings was really good. About 3 or 4 characters had connected ends, and when you'd done the story mode with everyone you unlocked one more character who had the final end that brought those others endings together and finally finished off the story. And it was an amazing ending, even though I didn't have a clue what was going on. Which annoyed because it would have been even better if DOA games weren't so shit at telling a story.

| Dead or Alive's okay, but I think it's more about eye candy... not that it's necessarily a bad thing, you know. | |

| I like DOA because it flows more than most fighting games. It feels choreographed sometimes. | |
