started a new series today, it's called 'hadashi de bara wo fume' (mouthful aint it?).

everyone but the main character's mind is warped in one way or another--and since i read othello, i end up reflexitively yelling at the screen whenever a mentally damaged character does something...mentally damaged.

guy meets girl, guy and girl start dating, city gets bombed (via planes) and guy sees girl with metal wings and a giant gun for an arm. she then proceeds to destroy the bombers and the story follows their relationship while her powers grow more and more unstable--her weapon form also keeps getting bigger and more advanced as well, even developing an 'evil' personality within the girl.

and the cluster missiles come out of her back in the manga.

this series has a very BAD END. srsly.
