Well, I found out they sell season 1 to 6 in Holland for 28 euros a piece, so maybe I'll buy them in the near future.

Technically, Superman is his real identity and Clark is teh secret identity. But, this is Smallvile, you won't see a grown man in blue and red tights with a cape flying around.

I'm now at season 3. Lois Lane has just been mentioned for the first time.
It's had some good episodes and I was totally ZOMG when I saw Christopher Reeve. I tend to like storylines that go throughout an entire season better. Does Smallville get like this in later seasons or will it continue to be episodic (as in: every problem is solved in the same episode it was brought up in)?

I watched the show until the WB network dropped. Then I started watching recently on the CW and season 8 is pretty damned good. Can't wait for next week. Didn't know there was a Bizarro supes though in this show.
Yeah, this is Smallville and a lot of big superman fans have problems with it. I'm not a big Superman fan. Supes as a whole bores the hell out of me. Smallville is good though.

I'm now just past the part where Lois goes undercover as a stripper. I like Lois, she's pretty fun.
Professor Fine needs to be more awesome though. He bores me. James Marsters needs to go into Spike mode.

I stopped watching this show after Jonathan died. It was such a shitty death, the writers need to learn more from Joss Whedon.
Does this show ever get as good again as the first three seasons?

You stopped watching after Jonathan's death? The first 3 seasons of Smallvile were awesome I love them and I can't get enough of them.
What do you think of Season 4 Kaio?
Also Jonathan died? Did you Finish Season 5 the Zod/Brainiac arc was great. Season 6 focuses on Clark having to hunt down rogue aliens so he becomes more of a hero and Season 7 Clark tries to run away from his destiny and live with Lana and battels it out with Lex and Season 8 IS the best season better than the first three.

Season 8 is probably my least favourite season i'm watching it now.
The doomsday plot line is great but the average episode is poorer. No John Glover/Michael Rosenbaum is hurting this season a lot.
That said even though so far I think this season dropped below par there were some very awesome episodes and plots.
I think this season is a build up though. James Marsters will inevitably be back and can't wait for that to happen. They finally got rid of lana in season 8 which was about freaking time. Pacing seems to be a problem, I get the impression the shows writers aren't working very well together. Some of them want to let loose and do there own thing others are very hesitatn that there pushing into adult superman territory which seems redundant considering they pulled out most of the big name villains already.

Isn't that the territory where they went 'Hey, let's put that "badass" Matrix-style coat on him and have him look like depressing bitch' for season 9? Also, although I liked season 8, I couldn't help but laugh at the ending. Jimmy wasn't our Jimmy!
Speaking of him, isn't it funny how his actor is the twin brother of that Animorphs guy who played Iceman in the X-Men films? TWIN RIVALRY! MARVEL VS DC!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, it's cool how Starkiller from Force Unleashed was Doomsday's human form.

Just finished the season 8 finale that was SHIT. I mean like really really shit.
The first 11 episodes of this season were good-awesome. There might have been like another 1 or 2 good after that i can't really remember. The whole second half of the season build up amounted to basically fuck all.
Spoiler:
Why did they suddenly think a geothermal explosion would solve everything. Why didn't clark die? I mean it was stated he would die within 24 hours. Exactly where did his plan change?
The whole jimmy was his middle name BS. That was awful, but on the plos side the jimmy charactre was the biggest waste of space in the series so good riddance. Davis the decent character they randomly turn into an emo psycho. I mean are they trying to tell us that doomsday is just a cuddly bunny and his malevolence came from Davis. Seriously looked like that was even thought out. Sure they were trying to prove humans can be evil, but they have lex luthor for that why do they need a second example.
The whole lana plot line was probably the worst thing ever so I guess the finale could have been worse.
That was probably the fastest and sudden drop in quality i've seen in a series which didn't have a writers strike. I really hope season 9 can bring it back. More Brainiac, lex and bizarro plot lines less of this other rubbish. This just reminds me of why i thought season 6 and 7 were so cool.
