that and you can choose people's storylines, relationships, etc. Not really. You can do a side-quest or not do a side-quest. Whether you do or not has no effect other than sometimes you get a new power for it. | |

| Who were those characters? I don't recall any character having a story to themselves (that extended beyond a short side-quest) that you didn't have to do to complete the main story. | |

in FE: sacred stones. the two main characters split up and the player decides who to accompany, each of them has individual cutscenes and bosses they fight | |
