Vaan and Penelo are the main characters. So my one question to Sqaure-Enix is.


HOW THE FUCK DO YOU MAKE MAIN CHARACTERS THAT BARELY HAVE A ROLE IN THE STORY?!

They weren't the main characters.

Ashe and Balthier were, and to a lesser extent, Basch.

But Vaan was said to be the main character in interviews and game demos and all of that crap!

Well he's not. If they insist on Vaan being the main character, FF12 drops down in quality by like 100 points.

The story is scene through both Vaan's and Penelo's, who are two, young, and normal citizens embarking on a grand adventure, point of view

it depends on your definition of main character

a) the person you play
b) the person the story centres on

FFX the story centred on yuna
Tidus was them main character

I never finished the game because I was bored by it. And even though I read the plot summary, I forget it.
So, I'll pretend no one was a main character.

Vaan is the main character. You play as him when you go through cities and all. However the story sucked because it seemed like all of them were the main characters!
