In a way, yes. It has more soldiers for you to use, more weapons, and some new stages and features. However, there's no story mode. Newer soldiers include Raiden, Roy Campbell (MGS: PO incarnation), and Solid "Old" Snake (MGS4) himself. Not to mention the Tengu, Female Ocelot, and Genome soldiers.

Female Ocelot soldiers. They're similiar to the Ocelot soldiers in Snake Eater, but they're women.

Grrr, Fuck you, Konami! I can't pass Hard mode because it's too damn difficult. Thus, I'll never get to play as Raiden. So, Fuck you right up the ass, Konami!

How do you play on Hard Mode, Gokua? Do you try to beat the stages aggressively (running across the stages as fast as you can while killing everything in sight) or do you try to be stealthy?

I try to be stealthy but that hard when there's like, two or three guards placed in the SAME AREA!!!!

I used to have a tough time with that myself. If they're a good distance from one another, have you tried luring them one at a time and then finish them off before the others could see you? It's a little harder to do on Extreme Mode, though.

Raiden is now mine to use as I please. But I got a question.

I read somewhere that if certain character die in Infinite Mission mode, They disappear until you find them as random prisoners. Is that true? Because that's all that's stopping me from using him above Easy mode.

That is indeed true, and they would appear at random, so hopefully you have a fair amount of patience for this. It took me a couple of days (I played on and off) to find Naked Snake again.

By the way, you'll be surprised as to what character you'll get in Extreme Mode. But let's say that I wished to play as him in the original Portable Ops.

However, losing your characters can happen in all modes, and the worst way to lose a character is when playing online, especially when you're not playing as the main characters like Raiden, Solid Snake, and Null.

But yeah, I'm trying to do an impossible challenge on Extreme Mode, And that's to take a team of random low tiered soldiers and try and beat Extreme mode with them. Who knows, If I actually pulll it off, I might actually get to play as Roy Campbell.

Heh, how did you know you get Roy Campbell at the end? Ever since playing the original MPO, I wondered, "Well, they made Big Boss, Null (Gray Fox), Eva, Para-Medic, and Zero playable, but why not Campbell?" Oh well, when MPO+ came, I guess the old saying goes, "Good things come to those who wait."

Well, I guess the surprise was ruined, but yes, you get him at the end. And it's about time he was playable too without a cheat device on the original MPO. And I also know that Konami released a complete password list for all the soldiers in the game. I haven't used it because prior to that, I stopped playing online.

Yeah, U.S. State Soldiers, And others like The Tengu Soldier.

I was beginning to wonder when the U.S. Soldiers were going to be more easily available.
