Guilty pleasure of mine. I liked the PS1 version.

It's just one of those games you keep playing, you don't really beat it. Except for one of the GC/PS2 versions and the original, there generally aren't really endings.

Important things to do are getting married and buying all the things you can, rly

Only played the one my cousin has. ...It has three little imps and a great fairy or some jazz like that.

do you normally restart at that point or did you just continue?

oh, Well, It was the one where you're father sends you to your gandpas farm just to get his valiables and what-not, But you end up getting ushed into saving the farmland from turning into a theme park or something...it turns into a game over if you say no to the offer.

My greenhouse was destroyed in the PS1 version by a hurricane. I was pissed.

I'm sorry for you. Which game? If it's FoMT or MFoMT, you can do the save/reload trick (assuming you haven't saved yet).

I LOVE HARVEST MOON! ive wasted many a month playing and getting everything. but its worth it to me.

Has anyone gotten Island of Happiness? I got it yesterday. The controls are pretty horrible, but it seems alright so far. I like the characters, and the dialogue. Taro(?) is probably one of the best HM characters to date, since his body tells you what the weather will be the next day.

Yeah, I already married and all, the controls eventually grew on me =D

And for that one you mentioned, it could also be Harvest Moon for the GB, or its exact remake for the GBC doing nothing but adding colors
