yeah most new games don't interest me that much and the ones i am interested in usually come out all at once

it's my friends he's got mostly shooters and sports. resistance fall of man, army of two, stranglehold, GTA4, fight might round 3, MGS4, rainbo six vegas 2. madden 08 and 09, NCAA 08 think that's all of them

The spawning system is a bit iffy on COD4. You usually spawn where the rest of your team is, which can lead to utter disaster. When I used to play with my clan (Well, I do play with a clan, but we're not as organized...) on Domination, we would corner the opposing team one part of the map (usually A or C) and just start spawn killing.

The trick is to not get too close to the enemies spawning point or capturing that last flag, 'cause then they'll start spawning all over the place.
