Why is GoW better than GoW2?
I know no one cares but hey I might as well give reasons.
Let's start with the basics
Gameplay
GoW's Gameplay was inspired by DMC, Chaos Legion, and Ninja Gaiden.
GoW
It was probably one of the most fun combat engines I've ever had the enjoyment of experiencing. And i loved it. My one main complaint though, is you are given the blades of Chaos and weapon-wise that's all you'll really need. That bugged me but oh well I still enjoyed it.
GoWII
THey did nothing to improve on it. They did absolutely nothing! The only thing is you need the Blades of Athena! That's it! The Blade of Olympus is awesome but you don't get to fully use it until the end of the game! And at that point it's necessary to use it!

Story
GoW
Twas awesome. Kratos goes to find Pandora's Box to kill Ares who has caused him amazing amounts of suffering and grief! Towards the end of the game Kratos dies and goes to the underworld. Kratos escapes thanks to an old man shoveling all the way down to the underworld! I shat my pants at that! Kratos succeeds in killing Ares and becomes the God of War.
GoWII
Now we start off with Kratos being lectured by Athena while his soldiers kill countless people. Kratos goes down to have some fun and ends up losing his power to the Colossus of Rhodes. After beating him he comes across Zeus and is killed by him. WAIT! Kratos already dies?! That's what made it so awesome in the first place! That is was a surprise and no nobody saw it coming after obtaining Pandora's Box! He dies right off the bat?! Whatever at least we get to travel more around the Underworld to see some more stuff.
...Wait! He escapes after dying that quickly?! Ugh! I was hoping to meet Hades! Oh well! We go on Pegasus to find the Island of time. I loved this part. Flying through the air and ripping off the wings of Gryphon's! Then we get caught by Typhon. Okay this was pretty cool. We got to meet a Titan and get some power from him! We go off to the Island of Time! And we kill. And Kill. And kill, and kill. Oh Zeus defeated the Titans and put them in Tartarus for some reason. >__> Wut? Oh it was because Cronos didn't want to get killed! Well ironic thing about that! If you hadn't eaten them you wouldn't have gotten beaten in the first place!
Oh well that's actually part of Greek Mythos so I should blame that! Morekilling, more killing, a pain in the ass escort mission. And now we see that Kratos killed the Last Spartan. >__> Seems like a good plan to fight someone you can't see!
Now we are on the Sisters tower thing. We kill them easily despite the fact they can control time. And now we get to the Zeus fight! Ooh that was some nice gouging! So I kill him now right?! *Kills Athena* You bitch! Why did you get in my way?! Zeus runs away like a little girl?! You fucking pussy!

Endings
GoW: This ended on a note where you thought this would be only game and Kratos had finally conquered Ares and attained Godship. Kratos sits down while watching over future battles.
GoWII: This ending was worse than Assassin's Creed's ending! This one actually advertises the Next Game! Wow Sony! Just wow!

Bosses
GoW: THe bosses were fairly paced for such a small amount. The Hydra, Guardian, and Ares. The hydra was fun as you fought multiple heads and killed him through eye impalement! You impale the Minotaur with a ballista! And you impale Ares with the sword. >___> Okay at least the fights were fun!
GoWII: The game almost quintuples the bosses! The Colossus of Rhodes is fought several times before you finally kill him! This battle was just tedious and I fucking mean it! I was disappointed to find out you have to kill him from the inside. Oh well, it's rational Kratos couldn't take it down any other way. Theseus was annoying. I mean he never even really fights you! You take him on for a while then he runs away and summons Minotaurs. Althoguh I did enjoy smashing his head in with the door.
Barbarian King was a total mindfuck. I was under the impression Kratos was awesome enough to escape from the Underworld but I didn't think anyone could walk out! Must have a rotating door. Anyways this guy was annoying but once again the finishing animation was satisfying! Cerberus was okay. Not good not bad just okay. His finishing animation was badass though. You rip his guts apart! Mmm, tangy! Next is Eurayle, she was just annoying. BUt her killing animation was predictable. I kind of expected to get another Gorgon Head.
Perseus was terrible, he runs around and attacks you and blinds you. But with your trusty Blades of Athena you can easily get rid of him! And once again the killing animation was satisfying! Oh god! Icarus! The easiest boss fight in the game! I really didn't care for the ending animation, I mean I laughed at how he fell after you tore his wings off but it was just kind of predictable. The Last Spartan was weird. I mean you don't even know who this guy is until you slam him out of a glass window. Okay boss fight though. It amazes the Spartans had someone who could match Kratos in swordsman ship. Oh wait.
Kraken, oh my god this is probably the only battle I had anticipated to be epic! And In a way it was! Especially the finishing animation! God that was awesome! Sisters of Fate, easy. But the ending animations were once again fucking awesome.
And we get to Zeus! While not as epic as Ares this battle was still pretty fun. And I could say the ending animation was good. THat is if my intended target had died and not my sister!

Magic
GoW
Epic win. Poseidon's Rage was great for spreading attacks. Medusa's Gaze wasn't used that much. Zeus' Lightning was okay. And Army of Hades was probably the best one.
