| So a few days ago, I gave the third season a shot because I heard it was doing interesting things. It won me over pretty rapidly, and now I've watched the first season and most of the second as well.
I'm honestly a little shocked as to how into this I've gotten. It kind of feels like Avatar: The Last Airbender meets Star Wars.
Has anyone else here seen it?

| I watched the finale for Season 2 it was great and very entertaining. Not bothered to watch the whole thing but will admit i've been very curious about watching it.
Also curious if one of the various characters are Snoke I have theories I don't want to spoil.

| Honestly my favourite thing about it are the characters, having jumped in at season 3 - which I think was a very good call to hold my attention, what I encountered first was: - Spoiler:
A blind, battle-scarred Jedi, his apprentice teetering on the edge of the darkside, Darth freaking Maul - yes thank you, and a super high ranking imperial who is actually quite scary and voiced by Mads Mikkelsen's brother.
That won me over. If you liked the finale for two (which was incredible), I'd definitely recommend watching what is out of 3 so far. I had no patience for Clone Wars, though if it gets as interesting as that I might have to look into it. I'm also curious about your theory, they've definitely laid enough groundwork for more force-users to be around by the time of 7, and therefore Snoke could indeed be one of them. Want to message me or put it in a spoiler?

| I caught the pilot and some early episodes here and there, but I haven't seen a whole lot of it. It's alright.
Feels weird to hear it's already in its third season. Time goes by fast.

| The pilot, and most of season 1 tbh, is pretty average. Worth it for seasons 2 and 3, but nothing special alone. Like it's got some good moments and all, but the series takes a bit to find itself. | |

| Sora watch season 2 finale then judge if the series is watching. I'm not a star wars fan but the season 2 finale looked pretty damn good and from what I've heard happens in season 2 as a whole it sounds good and actually delivers. I'd say this is almost as entertainig as the old gendy tartovski Clone wars series. - Skip wrote:

I think there's an extremely high likelihood of Ezra (a lot less likely but possibly Maul though Snoke doesn't have a two colour face, but being mutilated is pausible) being Snoke. He seems way to open to Maul when they meet and I also thought it was intersting Maul drops the Darth, he comments on hating the Sith too. There also seems to be no one referred to Darth in Force Awakens. The whole thing in the series two finale where they infiltrate the temple shows that the rule of two seems to be advisory rather than an actual thing more people could use the temple despite Sidious and Vader being the Sith at the time. Given that Sidious killed Plagis (also a possible contender for Snoke, he was immortal according to him so again plausible and off screen deaths dont mean anything) even two Sith can't be trusted to get along. I cant remember if it was in that episode near the beginning but pretty sure I saw Ezra with a cross guard light saber that breaks, again another nod to Kylo.
Oh and I kinda went off on a tangent, but my point was Ezra, Maul and Kylo could be the dark side people we're dealing with in the new movies, there doesn't need to be only two. There was also the knights of Ren which easily could be the equivalent of the inquisitors.

I like the idea, but... - Spoiler:
I'm not sure there's long enough between Rebels and TFA for Ezra to be Snoke. It's possible, and it's an ending I'd probably enjoy, because the pull towards the dark side has definitely been affecting Ezra - as of season 3 he was actually using the Sith Holocron for knowledge. Only thing is he's around Luke's age, possibly a year or two younger. Though I guess Snoke is disfigured as fuck, so maybe it's hard to gauge his age.
He does indeed pick up a cross guard lightsaber on Malachor - I just read it as a cheeky shout out though.
I would actually love it if Maul came back in the movies too, I was very excited at seeing him in Rebels. His characterisation is actually really great, embracing the dark side yet despising the Sith. It makes him one of the more interesting characters.

Well his face could easily look like that if wrecked by force lightning or something. I realistically see a face off between him and Kanan and something like that happening. This is essentially a great opportunity to show how Anakins journey to the dark side should have happened. Also Snoke has a huge nose like Ezra, I've also wondered if being dark side just makes you look like shit vader and sidious both had mutilated faces.
You also have to keep in mind this is confirmed canon by disney so that means either Ezra, Kana and Ahsoka die (dying off screen doesn't equal dead to me) as Yoda says Luke is the last or they all splinter off and become other things. Donnie Yen being a general badass demonstrated that the force can be used by other people who don't pick a side. Theres also the possibility something happens and then Ezra just leaves the Jedi order thinking fuck it, either way I do expect he will appear in episode 8.
TBH Kylo seems Emo like an angsty teen regardless of how entertaining his scenes were. There needs to be a good story development for why he joined the order. Someone like Ezra being Snoke works, or the most entertaining scenario for me would be Kylo pretended to be bad to inflitrate the dark side and get access to Ezra and Maul. I know i'm clutching at straws but Maul being back would be satisfying for me lol

| Kinda what I like about Rebels is that I don't have a clue what happens to any of the main characters. It leaves it really open to whatever, gives it actual stakes that the Clone Wars series can't really match. | |

| I just hope they have an ending to this series that lives up to the previous finales and it doesn't ruin a decent story.
It definitely makes things a lot more intersting when their fates are not already known. As much as I enjoyed Rogue One we all knew how it was going to end.
