I want them to remake this and then 3 and then hoefully they'll get what people want and make 7 in an appropriate manner.

I am wondering if they'll use the old style of fixed cameras or go for the 3rd person perspective like 4, 5, and 6.

Hopefully they'll give it the same love and attention like they did with the RE1 remake.

Sweet, looking forward to it, it's my favorite RE game.

Still need to play the remake of the first one too.

I'd want fixed camera story mode. Over the shoulder for Mercs mode.

Do you think they'll add one for 2?

Because Merc mode didn't start till 3

I'd honestly be suprised if they didn't its the easiest way to add some DLC stuff into the game i.e. extra characters/maps. As remember this one is being made ground up for this gen.

2 had the extra scenarios and extreme battle mode. Extreme battle was only in the dual shock/platinum edition IIRC, which was the template for mercs kinda.

I'm interested in seeing how they will deal with scenarios A and B in this one.
I hope they keep them.

Anyone interested in seeing the opening cutscenes being playable after Leon and Claire enter Raccoon City instead of them being merely cutscenes?
The idea popped into my head last night, and I considered it a possible way of remaking the game.
With that, the car scene is another playable portion if you start as Leon, your timing affects whether the game starts as co-op or a single player.
