Sony have allowed the character into the marvel universe and they have other characters coming to spiderman, Kevin Feige will be producing spiderman for a bit with Sony still owning the rights, very smart by Sony if you ask me. Hopefully some others will make the cross over now

I'm happy they decided to skip on his origin story. We all know it by now.
