| I'm kind of floored to see that a topic for this has yet to be made. Oh well. Anyone else here play this game and if so, favorite setups, characters, etc.? Because I love this game, it is my favorite JRPG of all time and I would like to know what Raziel's general consensus on it is as well. | |

| I really need to replay the older FF's... I'm like in that camp that started with VII, and I have played all the older ones, but I've maybe only played them once, and it's been years.. | |

Friendly advice? May I suggest Wii downloads or getting Final Fantasy Anthology from PSN?

Oh. Well, I was about to ask if you lost them or something. Because playing them after a while is where they stay really good and something to go back to again and again.

| hmmm thats weird I thought there was a topic about this. We've definitely talked about this game a bunch on here and i remember i was doing a playthrough of sorts, although i think I didn't beat the final dungeon as i got distracted... I play too many games.
I definitely think this is one of the better FF games I hate using the term best though as at times I have appreciation of different ones.

| I searched for it and came up with nothing. Figured a thread for the game itself would be okay. As for the "I got distracted" part? I know the feeling with some games. Sometimes, I just restart with a different file before I think of finishing the one I was on before. | |

| Don't worry about making duplicate topics one of the more OCD members will point it out and then i can merge it after.
I think the story telling was done well in this one as I liked how it switched perspectives to different characters, which even though i played this late I certainly didn't expect.

| I know, but I get just as OCD. When I played it for the first time, I thought Terra would be the focus and got floored on that when the focus changed at times to other characters and they all had a chance to shine. | |

| Just cleared my first actual play through of it in a while earlier tonight. Suffice to say, I've grown to think that the Colosseum is a necessary evil for some of the better items in the game. I say it's an "evil" because of how the AI controls your character instead of you. It is both annoying but useful.
Though on current impression, I'd say I still love it like I have for a long time. Yet, Shadow's ending scene always pegged me as depressing with how it sent.
Yeah, after this, I think I'm ready to LP it at the end of the year now that it's fresher in my memory again.
