| I always hear these a lot. They always get a nasty rep for it being cliche or no actions between two guys who you will later make fanfics of.
So I want to know if they're any good slice of life animes that are actually good? I wouldn't say I've watched any.

Huh, I heard someone talk about that before. I'll check it out. It would be considered a sports anime, but there's not too much over the top ridiculousness through it nad all the typical day to day life seems relatively normal. Its got considerably better character development then I see in most animes/mangas, not saying its the best either. Most people who start it seem to get very into it.

A anime with character development? That's a thing? I mean I heard of Neon Genesis Evangelion having it, but, that anime sucked. INB4EVERYONESCREAMSATEMPIREFORHATINGNEONGENESISEVANGELION

INB4EVERYONESCREAMSATEMPIREFORHATINGNEONGENESISEVANGELION Considering some manga artists can't draw emotions and have to write them in text next to characters (I've seen this in popular ones), I wouldn't listen to people who are realy into anime/mangas opinions on stuff. If a mangaka can't express things through drawing write a book.

| I don't know if I'd consider Ouran a slice of life, it's too much of a pisstake of the genre to count, right? It is amusing though, so I suppose it's a solid recommendation regardless. | |

| GTO: Great teacher Onizuka, there is some character development to be found there, little, but there. I don't like to recommend something ecchi, but it's my favorite spice of life anime. | |

| Not a fan of anything that involves a shit load of fanservice. A small fraction is fine, but too much is insane.

You're probably right, but I've seen it classified as one so I figured I'd recommend it anyway.
