This is now available on the Instant Game Collection on PS+, and given that I lost a hundred hours or so to Dragon's Crown, by the same developer, I had to try this. Straight off the bat, I think Dragon's Crown is the superior game. MR is a very 2D affair, and whilst combat is very fast and fluid, for the most part you're simply following a 2D path from point A to point B, stopping occasionally to hammer the attack button before facing off against a screen sized boss.

That's not to say it's a bad game; much like DC, it looks beautiful and as mentioned above the combat is very fast, though perhaps doesn't do quite enough to discourage button mashing, at least on the primary difficulty settings. It's early days yet, as I'm only just past chapter four, but I daresay DC will still be Vanillware's best game when I'm done.

Yeah i remember this, its not that hard of a game even on fury mode.
