Then how can you say SE made something good in a series that's known for the only merit being that it has a completely insane story?

Isnt that the reason in itself? well that aside i quite like the look of the game play and its visuals so to me it looks like it will play out well. but the only way to be sure to actually play the game when it arrives in both the EU/US regions

| It's true that Drakengard and the other game that's part of the series have extremely average gameplay, in my opinion they more than make up for it in other ways though. I'll be buying this. | |

Drakengard 1's gameplay is legitimately terrible, dude. Like, imagine everything bad about Dynasty Warriors then slow it down and make it 10 times more tedious, that's Drakengard's gameplay. It also contains some of the dumbest conditions to unlock extra endings in the history of RPGs. Drakengard 2 is slightly better in gameplay, but it's got a terrible story and characters, like not even remotely enjoyable in either department. Nier is a legit good game, albeit with average gameplay being its only real drawback. From what I've been hearing, Drakengard 3's gameplay is actually pretty good, but the problem is the remains of the Cavia team still does what they've been doing and that's making terrible gameplay design decisions on purpose just to spite the player. There's even a final boss that is worse than the original Drakengard's final boss, it is ridiculous. I'll be buying this game too, but that's because I know about this series. No newbie should be playing Drakengard 3 on its own, you will understand even less than the people who have played the previous games and will probably hate the game because of its game design choices.

| Oh I know it's bad, I just pushed past it and enjoyed the game for what made it good. Maybe it helped that I played Nier first, it might have eased me into the bad bits.
By the way I'm offended that you attributed a post of mine to Skip, like he'd ever have opinions as correct as mine.

| Well I guess like Neo said to me there's not good audio compression. I can't wait for them to add official drakengaard hard drives to the super collectors edition so people can actually play it. | |

Thats audio track thats not the game. The game will likely be bigger as it will include the english dialogue lol, which might be about the same size.

Did I say that? There are several ways to compress audio without losing quality.

While i'm talking about audio apparently the dogs in playstation pets have over 10,000 lines of dialogue I want that game. Apparently you train your dog and become king of england.
