| First season is alright. The tie in with the Winter Soldier and Hydra made it more interesting towards the end, and Bill Paxton was fun. | |

| well, this just started on Belgian television today, currently watching the first episode.
funny thing is, I remember when I was watching The Avengers in the theater, I said to my friend, Coulson isn't really dead, Fury is just using it to motivate them into doing what needs to be done (which i thought was pretty damn obvious as the way they went about it in the movie)
turns out i was pretty much spot on. | |

The alien juice that was used on Coulson was Kree blood, tied in with inhumans like Skye.
Also Grant Ward being HYDRA was the best thing to happen to the show.

Oh, they're usin Skye to set up the Inhumans. That's neat.
What I meant about Coulson though is that he was resurrected just because Fury wanted to. There's no real mystery or purpose to it within the story. It does give Fury a bit of edge though since he comes off as a giant asshole for forcibl bringing Coulson back when he wanted to die.
