Singham

Man, this movie. This movie man.

It's a bollywood action film, although there's not much action for how long it is, but what action there is is so wonderfully over the top. It's edited to hell and back with tons of slow motion and fast motion and any kind of motion you could want. Plus Singham is a total badass. Some dude insults his girlfriend, so this happens:

It's an immensely enjoyable film. The drama scenes (it's about a cop fighting corruption etc) are exaggerated to typical bollywood standard and Singham has a great theme tune that plays whenever he does something cool.



That's the opening credits. Yes Singham just picked up a disabled kid in a race and carried him to the finish line.

It took nearly 30 seconds of spinning cameras and editing for him to pull that light off the wall by the way.

And then there's this. The Holy Grail of action movie editing:

It's a film worth watching.

I'm certain I've seen a gif of that last scene before.

this is at the top of my to watch list now. So is this subbed or dubbed also apparently this is a remake and they are making a sequel. The original film was only a year older.

I saw it subbed. Don't expect too much action from it, it's not a martial arts film.
