The Unfinished Swan

Seems like a very simple exploration game so far. Only played the first chapter, but there isn't any puzzle solving or anything and only very basic platforming.

The twist is that you can't see the environment until you paint it. Everything is completely white and invisible until you chuck some black paint around. Progress is naturally a bit slow as you have to map out the path ahead manually as you go, but it's a fun mechanic. You can find balloons hidden around that allow you to buy upgrades for your paint throwing, like the time freeze, which lets you fling out multiple balls of paint at once. Not seeing a huge frog that was right in front of me until I flung some paint at it was quite startling.

OMG this game is so fucking epic buy it now. I'm glad I got the double pack of this and journey though i haven't played journey yet, but seriously playing this for about 3 seconds and it seems like the greatest game ever.

I can't believe no one encouraged me to get it.

Almost finished this its really good, possibly my favourite PSN title.

I would everyone to play this pretty much in one go like journey its not too long i flew through it. If you care about finding balloons it might take a little longer but the balloon radar is a godsend.

I really loved the visual aesthetics, if you can forgive the pretentiousness of that sentence. The game mixes it up as you move through the game and its a really nice touch, more than just not being able to see where you can go. I also really like that there was a journey easter egg (its fairly unmissable if you are curious).
