i know jack shit about this game but the name alone makes me want it.
their is an online challenge creator that sounds interesting. you create a challenge on an existing map and you can upload and share with others. doing challenges from others earns you money for upgrades.

i hope they have that newspaper again. that was hilarious in blood money.
"Their were 12 other victims as well. The cause of death has yet to be determined."
me"I guess they've somehow ruled out the knife sticking out of their face"

I actually ordered this a while ago but all the new trailers just reinforce my decision.
I love how this trailer basically just calls a bunch of players shit.
Also 47 is totally a cleric.

Yeah. It's actually pretty fun for an hour or two, I completed all the challenges, but to unlock all the upgrades for the full game it seems like you'd have to replay the thing hundreds of times - I can't be bothered.

Money is just your score, you unlock new upgrades when your grand total hits milestones. So when the points from all your runs add up to $250,000 you'll unlock an upgrade, then another one at $500,000 and so on. You don't get to choose what you unlock and from memory they're all, or almost all, things like reload speed or magazine capacity for the sniper rifle you use in the mission. I wasn't too bothered about them as sniping isn't really my style and, even if I did use the gun, you can probably get those upgrades in the full game.

This game is really fun, I'm totally shit at it though. Playing on Hard and got a Silent Assassin ranking on Chinatown but I can't figure out a way to do it on the mission afterwards.

It's difficult in different ways really, most people seem to think it plays more like Splinter Cell than Hitman. It's still a lot of fun but stuff like disguises don't work like they should, people see through them in seconds for no reason unless you use up your Hitman Magic Instinct Bar.

with the way the rating system works, silent assassin rating looks like it'll be stupidly easy to get compared to the others

i'm beginning to understand why hitman fans dislike this one over the older ones. their are more hide and evade events than actual assassinations. when assassinations do take place, they're incredibly easy compared to the hide and seek parts.
