| one was a chryssalid, but there was no way it could have gotten pass me before or after killing a civilian. when i sent a support unit to investigate nothing was there and a majority of my team was at the only other possible escape route. the other civilian just fell over and died, but didn't turn into a zombie. the only enemy that had guns left was a cyberdisc, but it elected to shoot a grenade at me instead, and no zombies were near the victim. | |

| that's dumb. in the original, you just need to research a live sectoid commander or any ethereal. *insert generic elitist rant* | |

| i got fucked over because of a glitch when i used rapid fire on a sectopod with a %100 chance to hit. instead, my guy aimed and did nothing, resulting in zero damage in what should have finished it. then my turn ended and the sectopod proceeded to wipe out my entire team. | |

| During the PS3 May sale, I picked the expansion Enemy Within for eight quid. It contains Enemy Unkown in its entirety, including DLC, as well as numerous enhancements and balance tweaks. Thus far, it's excellent, even if it seems to be noticeably harder than before, especially early game, and the game doesn't run that well, frame drops and screen tearing being frequent and a touch annoying. Some of the new abilities are great though, and I can imagine end-game troops will feel like utter monsters. | |

| HAHA, I put so much time into XCOM Enemy Unknown, I think around 3 or 4 playthroughs, I was doing a hard iron man run i think last time i played and then got really angry. | |

| This is really good. For £7.99 I'd strongly recommend it, even if you played a ton of Unknown there's more than enough new stuff here for it to feel fresh. I just did my first mission featuring the Exalt, the human splinter group, and I got horribly murdered. tTey basically called in wave after wave of reinforcements and it turned into a war of attrition, which I sadly didn't have the troops to withstand. Wouldn't have been so bad if my main assault class guys - who have (quite expensive) gene mods that allow them to cloak in full cover and regenerate health every turn - hadn't been wounded in battle the previous mission. | |
