| I try to not make topics about Kickstarter games because they don't really exist yet but this one looks fucking great. It's pretty much just a sci-fi RTS except you're not limited to the planet you start on, you can travel to moons and other planets to set up bases, use asteroids as weapons(!) and set up space station bases. The team has people who worked on games like C&C Generals, Total Annihilation, Supreme Commander and Battle for Middle Earth as well as a handful of other games (Morrowind & Monday Night Combat are the bigger ones) so there's definitely some talent behind it and, if all their listed goals for the project are to be believed, it's going to have full modding and LAN support which is great for any game being made these days, as much as I hate to say it. It's actually already been funded so at this point it's getting made no matter what but they have set up stretch goals that will allow them to create more extensive naval and orbital options, gas giant, water and lava planets as well as 'metal planets', essentially space debris you can build on.
