It was free on Plus. It's a space shooter, but backwards. So you have to press X just as your bullets/rockets/lasers return to your ship, as well as dodging all the crap that's coming from behind you in reverse. You can flip time so it's going normally to undo, or redo... or do... any mistakes you make. And it all happens it time with the music.
It's also set on 5 colour coded lanes, just like the Guitar Hero/Rock Band games, and that's because it's made to be played with a guitar controller. A regular controller works fine, but shifting up and down can become confusing on a hectic level. It would be simplet with a guitar, but I don't have one for the PS3.
There's a campaign mode with 10 levels and 6 difficulty settings. The real meat of the game is the challenge mode, which unlocks all kinds of stuff. Cheats, music, new ships, artwork, the whole deal.
Only downside is the actual music, which isn't great, but it's okay.

Yeah, I don't think automatically generating levels from MP3s would work well with this game.
Just discovered that this supports Remote Play, which was a nice surprise.
