i got syndicate for cheap

but now i'm skeptical about it because of all the bugs i've read about. anyway, i haven't played anything outside what the demo offered but it did seem harder, or it could be the fact i played it on hard with no upgrades that made it seem like it.

also, that annoying voice chat volume suddenly blowing up your ear is still in

holy shit, expert mode is brutal. my friend and couldn't get more than one kill on the first level before dying

it looks like all the weapons you can't use in the demo are only available when enemies drop them. you are unable to use them in a starting loadout

i played the second and third level. second level was fairly challenging mostly because of the vast amount of enemy spawns in the second half.

third was much easier but the cool thing was the end level bosses since they were eurocorp agents. it took us a good while to take them down since they can heal and reboot each other.

we also beat the first level on expert after we got the bullet penetration upgrade which made it a lot easier. the first half of the levels layout changed pretty drastically too.

i take it no one who played the demo is remotely considering getting this

Not at $60.

Also not interested in having an EA Origin account.

this game is getting increasingly difficult as we do new levels.the riot lancer is really annoying. enemies with this are like tasers in payday but with more range, they aren't as bad as long as you have defense apps though

We were actually talking about it yesterday, it's pretty cheap now so if we can get a fourth person (looking at you Raz) I'd be happy to give it a shot after Lost Planet 2.

if you do get it, let me know if you want me to reset my character. the only OP thing i can remember obtaining is being able to shoot through walls with the sniper rifle

I didn't think it was that bad, painfully generic but it was mechanically sound and I liked the little upgrade tree. Not worth full price of course but if I could get it cheap I probably would for the co-op.

i've done the first two boss fights. the first was alright until it started dragging on. the second was just shoot the big gun ship and hack the missiles. co-op is a lot better
