One of the greatest IP's created by SEGA: Jet Set Radio. It's at cult status so I'm not surprise you(or a lot of people) haven't heard of it before.
I'm not sure whether or not it's a port or a sequel to Jet Set Radio Future but if it's a port, it better include both, the original and Future.

Fucking hipster, i've heard of it and plenty of others have to., because its not really cult any more, seeing as everyone talks about it everytime sega classics need to be brought back.

I used to play JSRF's demo at a game shop way back in the day. Was pretty neat.

As a form of celebration, I'm gonna dust off my XBOX and play JSRF again from beginning to end and unlocking everything(again) on the second save data spot.

Awesome. Sega released some images. So, it's a port of the first game which is fine by me, since I never got as in-dept with the first one as much as I did with the second one. I was too young to really know what to do in the first game, I was too young to really understand my objective but I had hella fun with it.
But just looking at those screenshots, the graphics look almost like Future's(the second game). The only thing that can make this any better is if JSRF was re-released along side with this.
Fun Fact: I watched Scottish Ducks playthrough of this on the Dreamcast out of boredom one day. The whole time, I was wondering how much better it would look in HD and a couple of days later this was announced.

Wow, Dreamcast graphics are much worse than I remember.

I thought the visual style made it age relatively well.

Yeah, JSRF pretty much started the whole cell-shaded graphics thing.
Techniques that modern games such as Borderlands and the Darkness 2 uses.

Dreamcast was roughly equivalent to decent early PS2 titles in terms of graphics. At the time, it looked amazing.

Some of the games have aged pretty well graphically. Power Stone 2 is one example.

Boy, I could really use a release date and price number right about now. I'm trying to resist the urge to get Scott Pilgrim+Knives DLC off the PSN because I'm waiting for this first.
I predict a cost of at least $10.00 .
In other news, I beat JSRF again(and had a blast) and unlocked all the characters except for the immortals. But honestly, who gives a fuck about them? I'm gonna end up getting them later on though.
The extremely sad part about playing JSRF again is my discovery of the graffiti editor. I have no idea how I missed this feature all the times I've played it. It was tricky to use at first, but once I got the hang of it, I spent a lot of the time(hours upon hours) making some graffiti. Eventually, I went with this set:
SS Graffiti- The original Jet Set Radio's graffiti soul design Small Graffiti- The Sideway logo Medium Graffiti- Nox(The guy from Sideway: New York) Large Graffiti- Scott Pilgrim and friends(Kim and Ramona) XL Large Graffiti- The main cast of Kick-Ass
Even worse; I made these around the final chapters of the game. I guess at some point I'll probably play through a third time hopefully before JSR HD gets released with some fresh graffiti from the get go. Can't wait to do this stuff in Jet Set Radio HD.

I think this port will have different music tracks, for those who were partial to the original.

There will be a lot of the original songs in the game, but some will be missing/replaced with new tracks.
Thank god all my favorite tracks will still be present:
"'Bout the City"- The Reps "Super Brother"- Guitar Vaders "Sweet Soul Brother"- Hideki Naganuma "Magical Girl"- Guitar Vaders "Rock It On"- Hideki Naganuma

I finally got around to uploading those images I was bragging about on the last page. The editor was difficult to use at first, but when you get use to it becomes a bit easier seeing that you're using an analog stick and all. I really hope the editor in the original is similar to the one in Future so I don't have to get down a whole new learning curve.

Yeah. I made all those. I found myself putting a lot more time in them than I thought. Especially the Kick-Ass one.
In the end, it was sweet painting the town with these.
