I'm downloading it tomorrow probably cause I totally forgot about it, will post opinions later (and maybe some vids) if anyone cares.

| Games horribly unbalanced.
Firstly everyone has too much health, but then this is kinda needed as people can spawn giant mechs that would otherwise kill you in seconds. Although that said the mechs aren't really worth making as they take forever to gather the amount of ore needed and by the middle of the match there will be so many defences they get wrecked in seconds, there flight is generally too fast and useless unless your chasing down a vehicle, but even then the controls are a bit shit.
Normal shootouts man to man feel like a battle of attrition while you both roll around and shoot a stupid number of clips into each other. Snipers are one hit kills and therefore the obvious choice for campers as they can hide in there base snipe and spawn shitloads of base defence...
Basically this game has some nice ideas but falls under the category of 3rd person shooters that are super generic and uncharted puts its gunplay to shame.

| Aye. It definitely won't be the sci-fi shooter that will fill the void(due to the lack of Battlefront III) in my heart. | |

| exactly. I really expected much of this as Warhawk was actually quite a fun game, but this is just not fun.. due to all reasons mentioned above. | |

Let's make it happen. Nah, I played a bit of Battlefront 2 last year with people from 4chan and SA and it's horribly dated. We just need Battlefront 3 at this point.

Naw Battlefront 2 is still awesome. It's just horribly broken online. But yeah, a Battlefront 3 would be great. Too bad whoever was making the games gave up on them.

| They didn't give up. They were just busy with other games and Lucasarts wanted other developers to make BF stuff on the PSP instead. Then the original developers went defunct. If you want to see another installment in the future, just hope that Lucasarts stops being a bunch of tools and starts letting other developers produce Star Wars games again. Otherwise, you better get comfortable with more mediocre Force Unleashed stuff and other disappointing games. | |

| Well I need to review this so i hope one of you guys gets this soon so i don't have to try and attempt to get into the online alone. The beta didn't leave the best impressions on me. | |

| So far the game seems to be pretty good. They fixed the health since the beta headshots will kill super fast now. The option to melee is nice but if the other guy is packing a shotgun you will die.
Vehicle balancing seems to be fixed somewhat although a teammate was complaining he got taken out by a sniper before he could kill him which does sound kinda dodgy, its possible he sucked though.
Modes seem to include capture the flag, TDM, DM and zones. There is also a coop horde mode call prospector. The game seems to be lagless so i'm guessing only ppl with crap connections are complaining. Seems very easy to find a game. There is also a single player campaign.
Any questions ask away.

| I think i could actually invest a decent amount of time into this. Thats assuming i don't end up playing matches with idiots. Its fairly fun though either way. Some ppl are plain terrible at this though. In my first match I had the highest number of kills and zone captures and i didn't even get what i was doing and our team was heavily outnumbered. We lost but honestly i couldn't be expected to help ppl out that much.
This isn't a genre i'm particularly good at so my current match performance is quite suprising.

| After holding my own in a super one sided match i got invited to the clan of the guys on the opposing team. Hopefully they are cool. Should be nice to have a regular team. | |

| Finished the campaign mode it was effectively a really really long and boring tutorial. Its kind of a shame though seeing as the gameverse seemed to have thought put into it they just didn't put most of what they were thinking in the game. | |
