you can love a character as in think there great thats fairly normal

if your in love you have feelings for a fictional character, which is weird
but on the net i'm sure loads of people are in love with game characters
i remember the lara croft fad

I can understand the feeling... I really like some videogame characters (Saria and Talim among them), viewing them as ideal matches for me or doing things that I really connect with, but I never get to the point that I would want to jump into the screen and give them flowers and candy. They are subjects of my fantasy, but I keep it on that particular plane.
