It looks like my PS3 is on its last legs.

I'm getting a white bar every once and awhile that goes up and down my screen. It shows up on XMB too so isn't a disc problem or something.

Anyone got any info on this? Am I fucked?

I just ripped the prong of the power cord. That fixes it and it doesn't do anything detremental to the system...I think.

Great news. I thought I was screwed. I was seriously getting ready to sell the shit to someone because I thought it was dying. I wanted to try to sell it before it completely died.

You don't even need to eat them, just freeze them. Any frozen energy bar = Deadly weapon. You can be like Batman and his utility belt, but with a wide variety of frozen energy bars at your disposal instead of high tech shit.
