i got mw3, sort of

anyway i played a few rounds of survival and a few split screen private matches with my friend

survival mode is basically zombies with living people attacking you, instead. the longer you live the more advanced the equipment the enemies use and the occasional juggernaut drops in to attack and a few attack helicopters come in to rain bullets down on you. you can buy equipment based on what rank you are so when you first start, you can't buy much. you can also buy predator missiles and precision airstrikes as well as squads to drop in and assist you. you earn money by killing people, killing them in a certain way for mid round bonus', and rewards for your end round performance. at first i really enjoyed it but, it soon changed after a few play throughs, i do believe i will enjoy it more once i unlock everything.

streaks are now rewarded based on points, thus they're called point streak rewards. all point streaks are available to unlock at level 20 and they're categorized under three types: assault, support, and specialist streaks are unlocked the same way as mw2. you are allowed to choose different streaks for each custom class you have. i played around with some of the new rewards as well. under assault i've used the reaper aircraft, which is similar to the ac-130 except it only fires laser guided missiles. there is an assault drone, which is like a mobile sentry gun with missiles. a remote control recon chopper that targets enemies in its camera allowing your entire team to see them. a remote control sentry gun with a thermal camera allowing you to see people through walls. precision airstrikes are now activated by a smoke signal. and those are all the changes and new stuff i encountered.

Can you use semi automatic rifles and bolt actions without scopes in MW3?

there is only one semi automatic rifle with no scope. all others that aren't rapid fire or three round burst are scoped, unless you don't count an ACOG as a scope. and you can't change the guns fire rate either.

i think the multiplayer maps take up a shitload. i think the BO DLC maps were like 1.5 Gb for 5 maps unless my memory has become shit

Reading the comments on that web page was a good laugh. Only having two civilian models is hilarious and sad.

i'm not sure i like the new streak system. if you use support you need no streaks at all, as long as you get the necessary amount of kills you can use the reward. my team got hit by three stealth bombers in one match because of this.
