That was a good episode. Britta was great as usual.

Nothing short of amazing.

Holy crap I completely forgot about this.

I really don't like that the show's started doing stuff like thought bubbles and time cards and crap like that.

I sort of agree. I liked the heart gag last week but I don't like how it's developing into a trend. It feels too much like explaining the joke. It reminds me of later Scrubs, which isn't a good thing.

I would like to see a return to relative normalcy and would be happy for them to attribute the increased wackiness of this season to Troy and Abed's hyperactive imagination over the excitement of living together. Now that they've 'broken up', it's a good excuse as any to add some context and pathos to the funny. See the claymation and the chicken mafia episode - both dealt with Abed's delicate hold on reality and didn't feel contrived.

The show's still as funny as ever, but it's walking a fine line right now and hate for it to go over the edge.

Well apparently one of the producers (or writers, can't remember) was asked about the cartoony stuff and they said it was an experiement for a few episodes and wouldn't continue. I hope that's true.

But it felt like Abed was not only weird in this episode, bu actually stupid for the first time. By now I think he should be able to understand Troy's concern, and even if he can't, he should be aware enough not to run up a $3000 debt.

So this pretty fucking rad

Hopefully there's some explanation for why Pierce is suddenly so mental in the next episode. But otherwise that was great.

Dan Harmon and Chevy Chase have had a bust up, it seems.

I wouldn't mind if Chevy left. I was certainly disappointed when he walked back in at the start of season 3.

Dan Harmon is a neurotic mess who seems to have a predisposition for vengeance and loves twisting the knife wherever he can. Chevy is just a naturally belligerent person who excels in burning bridges and doesn't seem to have any respect for his coworkers or the show.

They're both in the wrong here but Chevy's worse. What he did wasted people's time and money - pretty much the worst thing you can do in the television business.

That was... a disappointment. The show really didn't need another documentary episode, even if it was a different kind of documentary. Would have been much better with the show's normal style.

The only time this show made me laugh is when Joel McHale walked in on two guys crumping and joined in...

And lol at thinking Troy and Abed's problems were resolved at the end of the episode. Just because they're not fighting anymore doesn't mean their problems go away.

They weren't resolved. That's the problem.

I don't think the episode was amazingly funny but I still liked it. Mainly because I'm a history major and they nailed the historic documentary feeling.

Well, yeah, they nailed it. It just shouldn't have been that way. It's the only gimmick episode where the gimmick got in the way. Well, that and the latest Christmas episode. Plus Britta was barely in it. I don't think she even had a line.

Although the Dean yelling "Find me Jeffrey!" when the fight started was great.
