Dragon Quest 10 and more release.

Tobi and I are watching a Stream for Square enix event of Dragon Quest 10 and a few other games of the franchise. From what Tobi could make out it is gonna be release on the WiiU. It's also will be a mmo.
Another Release is Rocket Slime 3 for the DS.
As well as a Dragon quest mario party mash up.
Dragon Quest 1-2-3 will be released for the wii.

Square Enix will hopefully learn their lesson about those MMOs with FFXIV and this. As if FFXI wasn't enough.

Yep definitely a mmo. Showing character creation now. Also running around in a starting city.

A mmo fan I am this looks great. It also has the classic atb when you run into enemies.

Tobi said it may be for the regular Wii as well.

Well i guess i'm no longer a dragon quest fan.

to clarify a few things about DQX: it might not actually be an MMO, it may just have an upgraded version of DQ9's customizable main character and multiplayer party capability. it appears that it will be for both the wii and wiiu, with the latter being in HD--there also may or may not be some little bonus thing involving the 3DS, it wasn't really clear.

DQ 1-2-3 will be released for the wii, which seems cool.

and there'salso a mario/DQ crossover thing as well (the bottom of the title literally says 'dragon quest & super mario' in english)

Gawrsh, Buu, you needn't feel too crush. After all, I mentioned it'd be on the Wii long ago since since that was one of the first things about the game they announced even before DQIX's release, remember?. You should be mentally prepared for this!

Naw they're still good. Those DQ games have sucked anyway since VIII. Not sure why they need to make another crappy MMO though. Hopefully when FFXV comes around and changes RPGs forever we can forget all of this.

Thats going to be like 5 years away though. Seeing as versus and 13-2 still aren't out.

I can't wait for more obnoxious animu characters, thousands of cutscenes with bad dialogue, and linear hallways. This time they should be cramped too, with invisible walls from either side so you can hardly go left or right. That'll be really edgy.

They already did the invisible wall thing in FFXIII!

Yeah, but this time make it reeeeeally tight. Maybe sometimes there will be a door or two to open, that'll be fresh and exciting!

If FFXIII stayed a PS3 exclusive it wouldn't have been nearly as linear or gotten as much hate. If really is the Xbox's fault which is sad that Microsoft has to ruin gmaes on other consoles because of it's inferiority.

FFXX will be about living in a coffin for 60 hours with two minutes of playtime where you get to breath and/or turn on a flashlight.

That is completely Squenixs fault. They should have realised the problems they were running into, due to size limitations. They also used to realease some games on up to 4 discs why not do that for the 360 version.

All there games were Sony exclusives since FF7. The fact they decided to suddenly try and open up mass appeal and break the american market is what caused this, by going to the 360 platform.

Sure you can blame microsoft for other ocmpanies that had previously been multiplats, or on small development companies but Squenix should've known better.

They were in a binding contract with Sony for the games rights and Microsoft went and payed millions to get them out of it. Also the 360 game did have 4 disks haha.
