Search bar and Calender in portal

Anyone using them? or can i remove them. Calender seems really useless to me unless i'm missing something.

Eh, the portal's for chumps anyway. The home page and search bar are all you really need.

I literally just use "View posts since last visit"

I meant that by home page, the search bar is handy if you're looking for an old topic for whatever reason though. What is the point of the portal? Does anyone actually use it?

I just set it up so the site wasn't so boring to look up, when you came here via google.

That said at least its not a cluster fuck like a lot of other forums. I use it so i can look at the basic stats occasionally and see if anyone new signs up, oh and if i need to msg someone you can see who's online which is actually probably the most useful thing about it.
