I really hope that one day western animation catches up with the japanese stuff. I mean just look at the quality of animation, the realism, fluidity and then on top of that the feelng i get just because there VAs are just THAT much better.

Read the top line sora its not just a classic or a disney classic, this is an ALL-TIME classic, cower in front of the almighty kimba.

Maybe. But I'm just thankful that, even if The Lion King was inspired by Kimba, it ultimately turned out almost entirely different. I'd hate to see some of the poorly written plots from Kimba used in the film. There were truly some utter garbage throughout that show. Although, I guess am being a tad cruel considering it was aimed at babies-preschoolers after all(that's what makes the existence of fanboys raging so much about the alleged plagerism so pathetically funny).

But yeah, taking the story of Moses and Hamlet instead was probably the best thing Disney did for The Lion King.
