Comparation topic

I just wanted to point how some ubber demons in Nocturne are less useful than a lower Lv demon with better abilities

For example


Metatron VS Michael

Metatron Pros

-Fires of sinai
-Comes with Megidolaon
-Could learn victory cry

Metatron con

-Only 3 spaces to learn abilities through the fusion
-Fusion needs Michael + Seraph or divine and sacrifice a tyrant, Drags and increadible lot of noise
-Nulls expel/death and ailments


Michael pros

-Nulls magic = win
if done right you could pass repel phys from Vishnu
-Could inherit 4 dyne elements
-Could learn victory cry (5 lvs later)

Michael cons

-Fusion needs the 3 seraphs so if you think Metatron drags a lot of noise, Michael takes a good 5 hours to get the abilities you want on him because of the noise
-For been a high Lv seraph, Mike has a really crappy Agi stat
-Looks indigested (dont really like his looks)


To tell the thruth i really prefer my Mike over Metatron

My mike has

Victory cry, repel phys, Mediarahan, Hades blast, and other crappy skills i dont use

michael is one of the best
i thought he looked ok, metatron looks strange and TBH i was kinda gutted when i got him as he seemed a lot crapper then my michael

unfortunately i did which made me kinda gutted
he was great to take into most fight with those kindo of resistances

he save automatically doesn't he
but i didn't save the levelled up version of him

If you fuse Michael for the first time, the base levels are saved. Any level-ups or updates on Michael would have to be registered in the Compendium before using the updated Michael in future fusions. That way, if you've been working on Michael's stats very hard and save it, you won't have to go through that trouble again.

However, there's a downside. All your high-leveled demons would cost much more macca to summon than base-leveled demons.

Wait, wait, wait...

Nulling Expel/Death/Ailments is a con?

He's saying that, compared to Null Magic and possibly Repel Phys, it is.

Metatron Torment is the strongest great axe weapon skill in FFXI. I was a max-level Warrior before quitting and it took me months to obtain the ultimate great axe with which I could use this skill. I preferred Steel Cyclone over it sometimes, though.

I was also a max-level Black Mage.
