Who actually uses the free region on there PS3?

why? it's true..


I know someone who worked in the US for a while, and he earned about the same number in $ as he earned in € here...


i don't know the exact number but let's say he earned around 1500€ over here in Belgium per month (that's over 2000$) what do you think he earned when doing the same job in America ? you'd think he'd be paid about 2000$ for it, but it was closer to 1500 than it was to 2000..

Gas prices in Europe are fucking rediculous. I'll never complain again. And I like your system Evil. taking all the value out of money sounds alright by me.

You're right to a degree, and you would have been completely correct a long time ago. But what we have now is an international market, all of our economies are inter-dependant. So really, everything should have the same standardised price unless there are important factors that have to be taken into account. Now if I earn $15 dollars doing the same job you earn 10 Euros doing, we should both be able to buy the same amount of beer with that money. However what if that was skewed and beer cost more where I live for whatever reason. That is the same principle.

well, i clearly said that I stated it very black/white and it wasn't 100% correct, but there's still some form of truth in it...

and just for the fun of it, I looked up what someone with the same job as me (with the about the same degrees and experience) would make in the US, and that would be in between 13 and 18$ an hour (i made about 14€ an hour) so my point isn't really too far off is it...

Well english game sites I buy from include, game.co.uk, amazon.co.uk, play.com, hmv.co.uk.

As far as blu ray region locking goes generally speaking as long as its not Disney its not region locked, there's sites taht detail the exact region locking of each blu ray to.

I should have a look at importing then, I recently ordered Tron and True Grit both on Blu-Ray and I feel kinda bad that together they're over 40€..
