Yeah Ace comes back and all he wants to talk about is Gantz. Big surprise huh?
I hope atleast one of you watched it. It was about as good as the death note movie. Better if you're a Gantz fan. Totally can link you to it if you need.

The movie is alright, but seriously watch Gantz. It's like 13 episodes or sum shit but it is the pinnicle of the anime horror genre.

The manga is around 300 chapters, so a 13 episode anime would be poop. And the only good thing about this movie as far as I can tell is that one of the main characters is played by Nino, who was in Letters From Iwo Jima.

Yep live action and while some anime/manga to LA movie adaptations are horrible Gantz is very faithful to the core material, changing a few things yet still putting in the homage to the manga.
The Live action and the anime both go up to chapter 90 in the manga. So my advice is read the first 90 chapters then watch either the anime or the movie. Or you could just watch the movie straight up, it's fine but kinda confusing standalone that way. But it's still great, the actors play thier roles well, especially the guy who plays Nishi in my sig.
Theres going to be a 2nd movie that totally fucks up the storyline. I've watched the trailers but it still looks cool.
This movie has great special effects too. a lot of effort put in.
