I still can't get into the new Frieza voice. I will admit that new Gohan sounds good.

I like Chris Ayres' Freiza. It sounds like more like a man which is what Frieza is. Colleen's Gohan isn't bad but I still think that Nadolny was better.

The only thing that bothers me about the choir is how light they sound. This a big transformation of someone, as if they were unleashing an inner beast. You need some deep voices to raise the roof up, not generic, soft choir chants.

If it were done a little like that, I would have found it pretty satisfying, especially since I really don't care for the original Spirit vs Spirit insert song.

I must agree with you, Kai. It was really weird. I think if it had been like Sora said, it would have been a lot better. The instrumental part of that song was pretty good though. Unmei no Hi was best.

The inner monologue in the English dub drew attention away from the elevator music playing. If they do that again in Z Kai with this decent track, I'll be thoroughly disappointed.

I was unaware of this. If I watched an unedited version instead of the one on Nick I'd be more inclined to like this.

Are you shitting me? How can they accept this? I hate to say it, but I think it might be worse than the elevator music.

They had to slam random crap quickly on every scene because of the Yamamoto plagiarism overreaction.

You mean they didn't want the English dub to put the original music in anymore? What the hell is wrong with them? If anything, they should have put in Mystic Gohan's theme for good measures.

No, both the Japanese version and the English dub had their original score by Yamamoto removed with the DBZ score by Kikuchi, except unlike in DBZ where that music was appropiately placed, here they just rushed it.

Oh, I see. Yamamoto's OST wasn't bad. That's too bad. With that original music, that scene was good (Minus the comparison to Nadolny's scream lol but we won't get into that).

Edited version of that SSJ2 Gohan theme. You can still hear some of the background stuff in the back. Considering that track got stripped, I don't think it will ever show up in OST so this could be as close as we're getting to it.
