I don't think I've ever bothered rewatching anything revolving around SSJ Kid Gohan after seeing Sly's old, horrific AMV with that Linkin Park song.

Okay, episode just began. Let's count down to the tears.

#16 got trolled big time.

I've always had a soft spot for the Cell Jr. material. It's great seeing everyone get beaten down by creepy little monsters.

They kept the Final Flash scene. Sigh.

Whats the final flash scene?

Satan just threw the head. Almost there.

They used really weird choir music and it was really weird.

Really weird.

They seemed to go more for EPIC TRANSFORMATION and less poignant scene with beautiful Kageyama scene.

And the preview showed Gohan transforming again, the long, drawn out one.

I still can't get into the new Frieza voice. I will admit that new Gohan sounds good.

I like Chris Ayres' Freiza. It sounds like more like a man which is what Frieza is. Colleen's Gohan isn't bad but I still think that Nadolny was better.

Yeah, really awesome how a Cell Jr. that's supposed to be evenly matched with Vegeta is toying around with his strongest attack.

They actually kept that? GG.

The only thing that bothers me about the choir is how light they sound. This a big transformation of someone, as if they were unleashing an inner beast. You need some deep voices to raise the roof up, not generic, soft choir chants.

If it were done a little like that, I would have found it pretty satisfying, especially since I really don't care for the original Spirit vs Spirit insert song.

I must agree with you, Kai. It was really weird. I think if it had been like Sora said, it would have been a lot better. The instrumental part of that song was pretty good though. Unmei no Hi was best.

The inner monologue in the English dub drew attention away from the elevator music playing. If they do that again in Z Kai with this decent track, I'll be thoroughly disappointed.
