I don't understand why. He's a good in-ring worker, but he's fantastic on the mic, has granted more wishes for the Make-A-Wish Foundation than any other celebrity (200 and counting), tries to put over midcard wrestlers a lot more than himself (Evan Bourne and Daniel Bryan being two great examples) and after he lost the title to Edge the first time he even tried to reinvent his character to he could become fresh with the fans but the writers wouldn't let him.
John Cena is like the second coming of Jesus Christ, even their initials are the same, he's so damn selfless it's hard to hate him.

he needs more good rivalries. the last rivalry that i remember liking with him in it before nexus came was back before jericho "got fired".i loved him in smackdown but his matches soon became very stale when he moved to raw

He does seem like a good guy and his performance is great but i don't ever seem to care if he's winning or losing. Honestly though I was never a fan of Hulk Hogan either, so i've only liked 1 out of the 3 really big wrestlers i can think of. His moves aren't all that great and as he comes across as a wigga not sure if thats meant to be his thing or if he's meant to just be street but that makes him more annoying. I'll try and watch more fights when my nephew watches him next to see if i'm just not giving him a chance.
BTW was cool when he FUed that Nexus dude during the randy orton fight, although I didn't really see the whole build up to that storyline.

Dude, his feuds with Edge and Orton in 2009 were great and Batista's feud before quitting was fucking awesome.

It's kind of hard to explain. Originally the whole Wigger thing was his original gimmick until the Marine came out and he started incorporating a salute into his entrance along with being the most focused on wrestler at Tribute to the Troops, even to the point where SVR09 had him with a black buddy that was in the military and he rode in on a tank for their entrance.

If you need any testament to great matches for him, just watch his match against Randy Orton at Bragging Rights '09, it easily tied Shawn Michaels vs Undertaker WM25 for best match of the year.

i'd probably agree with edge if i saw the PPV, but not with orton, and i only liked the batista one because heel batista is win. i didn't particularly like john in any of those rivalries though. i generally only like his mic skills now but if he isn't impressing me with those he is generally boring me.i found his rivalry back on smackdown with JBL to be the best of all of them.
i will admit that i am looking forward to his new rivalry with punk though

The Batista one was great because John and Dave played so well off of each other. You had the monster heel who kept getting humiliated by the man who he thought he was invincible against and you have John being the good guy who kept getting the better of Batista in increasingly hilarious/awesome ways. Then there were the promos before the Last Man Standing Match at Extreme Rules and the I Quit Match at Over The Limit which once again proved how awesome both of them are.
I mean jesus, the part where John is over Dave counting to 10 is just amazing.

Then torrent them. You're on the internet, guy. You don't have to pay for PPV's anymore, you can just wait for people to put them online after they record it.
