Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt

I was originally going to save my viewing for this when dub episodes came out but /co/ is talking about this thing every day. Even showing pictures of it doing a parody of South Park, which is really what caught my interest along with these two demon chicks. It seems to be doing parodies of other cartoons as well and I'm going to give it a shot. I've got a week long school break, so I'll be starting this over that time.

With that said I will begin downloading.

Don't go to /a/ before you finish it. Actually, abstain from 4chan completely before finishing it.

I've been on 4Chan long enough to know not to take their opinions seriously and only use the pictures they post for any interest in the actual show. I've been in so many MvC3 threads where they bitch about stuff so much because it wasn't specifically made for them that I've pretty much tuned out what they're saying half of the time and only pay attention to the pictures they post.

Episode 1

What I liked
+The Music is awesome and English, but I wouldn't expect different form the same guys who made Gurren-Lagann which had its soundtrack consist of several different genres
+The animation, seriously as simplistic as the animation is it seems like a style choice rather than not enough money to do so as they do use fluid animation at times too
+The transformation sequences, I was completely taken off guard when I saw the transformation sequence as it was sexy and an awesome decision to completely change the art style for transforming
+The monster deaths, I love it whenever a monster dies and it goes form the cartoonish style to see the Ghost blow up in a very Puppet Like style
+The police showing up en masse and not being able to do shit, seriously nothing is funnier than seeing the police block every nook and cranny of a road then pile on the monster only for it to get away.

What I did not like
-The Vulgar humor, while I'm obviously not looking for intelligent humor from a show called "Panty and Stocking", I'm also not looking for some of the laughs to be based on stupid orgasm and shit jokes

Yeah, so it's good for the most part and I'm currently downloading Episode 2.

Okay, I'm making gif's for every one of these Ghost deaths or at least as many as I can before I get sick of it.

I think you'll like episode 6. WIll each episode get as detailed a review as the first?

If I'm not feeling particularly lazy, sure.

Episode 2

Things I liked
+The PKE Meter mention
+Stocking, she's getting to be the more enjoyable of the two.
+Chuck is being used more
+That Panty Porno part was actually pretty funny, especially when they crashed into people's houses

Things I didn't like
+Garterbelt didn't show up much
+Part 2 didn't end with a Ghost explosion

I have to be somewhere in about 20 minutes so I won't be watching more of this until later.

I always liked Panty a bit more than Stocking, probably because she was more extreme, and partly as a knee-jerk reaction to the imminent Stocking fandom from /a/.

And another warning: Try not to take it seriously. If the jokes are dumb, it's because they're supposed to be. Gainax have been doing this for some time now, they know how their writing is viewed.

Panty is the best female anime character of all time.

I know they're supposed to be like that, it still annoys me though but not much.

Things I liked
+The Watchmen joke at the end and using D-Day for the opening and ending joke was pretty damn funny.
+The Afro and Snot being used as a euphemism for semen.
+The Sperm Ghosts were pretty god damned funny.
+Garterbelt's entire stoic attraction towards Brief was funny.
+Getting to hear the transformation music again.
+The art style changing when Stocking is being constricted by the rope.

Things I didn't like
-The opening at the end (You know what I'm talking about) with hair on it. It wasn't a very good visual pun.
-Chuck getting run over by the milkman, I didn't really see any point in that.

Episode 5
Things I liked
+Everything, this was easily the best episode yet

Episode 6 will blow your mind.

And this is just dumb. Everybody with any brain capacity could guess from the first episode that Stocking was worse then Panty.

+Yeah, another perfect set. Seriously, starting with episode 5 the episodes just get better and better.

I am loving the Demon Sisters, they are too much fun.
