Resistance 2 is actually good

I picked it up today out of curiosity, but I played a couple of 60 player online matches shit is awesome.

Eh, Resistance 3 is on the way. I plan to not buy that instead.

Pretty much, i'm not a fan of games with loads of people singing their praises most of the time they don't live up to the hype.

I know what you mean. Though I saw some videos of R2 and it looks fun. I know that if I got the game, I'd get owned though.

I have no idea why i'm playing this game on hard i haven't got the patience for playing at this difficulty.

I'm near the end though grabbed my 19th intel document so i'm sure there's not much left.

Oh its not that hard at all, there are just a couple of tough points:

1. A bit where you go over a bridge adn then loads of guys with shields adn titans show up and spaceships.
2. The first part of chapter 6 i have no idea why i struggled there but i died a bunch.
3. Last time i played i died like twice when i entered a house and got auger shot to shit through the walls and floor

Yeah, there are a few situations that I remember caused me difficulty. One spot with 3 titans at once comes to mind.

Oh i just pimpslapped those guys and hid in the gazebo, weren't too tough.

I feel like getting that and god of war collection 2. I'm not sure what i'm going to do about god of war 2, as I have one but I want to play 2 before 3, hopefully there's a PSN sale.

Apparently the online is being shut down in a couple of months, and not just Resistance 2. Seems like Sony have written the series off.

It's a pity that they've written it off but I'd rather that than them trying to make more and them all turning out rubbish. At least this way there's more of a chance of it being effectively revived down the line with a well thought out game. And if not, then at least it hasn't had its corpse properly dragged through the mud after they killed it with R3.

Yeah its probably a good reason for it to just be closed down. Honestly I have no idea how they thought they could keep their fanbase by reducing multiplayer from 64 to 16. Thats some of the dumbest shit i've ever heard.

I kind of understood it from a story perspective though, but still a bad choice.
