They just seem to completely misrepresent what the games are like sometimes. Like the advert for the first Gears of War game. Yeah I know it's not an FPS but whatever.

Needless to say, when I actually played it I discovered it was an all-out action shooter bonanza with a bunch of macho dudes with gravel in their throats spouting one liners and chainsawing the heads off of mutant alien things. Seeing as these are 2 of the 3 games you should get an XBOX for the other being mass effect. They try to widen the fanbase by having an advert that would make people look into them. MS are so sure these games are so great that even if your not necessarily into the genre's if you gave these games a chance you may well be drawn into them. I honestly don't find it suprising.
