Ultimate Ninja Storm 2

Oh man did they make itachi and Kisame look shit compared to the first one those two had some of the best ultimates.

Haven't been able to play as them yet I'm currently on the Hidan and Kakuzu part of Shippuden, IE the only good part of Shippuden.

Hidan and Kakuzu sucked too, mang.

Why the hell did Shikamaru get an entire dumb arc to himself when the behaviour that made him awesome had completely dissapeared and had turned to just another vanilla whine character.

He only whined for Asuma's death and that was legitimate. Everything after that was him getting revenge/being as awesome as he was before and taking down someone who is nigh invulnerable.

I loved that arc

Kakuzu, an S-class ninja, was tricked by a fucktard who thinks his job is to check armadillo penis, when a war is about to erupt and his enemies are fighting 10 feet away from him.

And the trick was so obvious that said fucktard himself wouldn't fall for it.

To be fair it wasn't really Kakuzu that was the big bad of the specific arc, it was Hidan. As much as Kakuzu barked orders he was still vulnerable and if anything didn't really do much in the long run other than fight some of the mooks and get his ass wasted by Naruto the second he popped up. Hidan was the one who really influenced things.

The ending of the arc was a bit contrived but the whole first part was awesome.

That fucking RasenShuriken was one of the most bullshit attacks I have ever seen.

That whole scene pissed me off. Not sure what they say but its along the lines of Naruto learns so quickly and adapts.
When he just shadow cloned and rasenganed which has been his combination for pretty much the whole fucking show.

Azuma, a character barely seen before and who we know little about aside from banging that female jounin, suddenly dies to create contrived drama and character development for Shikamaru out of nowhere. And JUST Shikamaru. Ino and Chouji, who should be as attached to Asuma as Shikamaru, don't do shit.

Boring training arc where Naruto trains and learns a dumbass technique that is suddenly the most intelligent thing ever. What. And why the fuck didn't he train like that in the THREE YEARS with Jirachi, A FUCKING GENIUS. Stuff like "train your shadow clones, it goes faster" could've come up during that time, right? Right? And what about that random elemental system that was never mentioned before and suddenly shows up and becomes super important to battles and is then NEVER SEEN AGAIN? Jirachi is a fucking moron. He probably spent his entire time reading porn while Naruto was angsting and hyperventilating about Sasuke.

Every post-timeskip arc sucks, don't deny this.

Me and baal agreed that naruto ruined the arc, i still very much enjoyed it.

They joined in the fight against Hidan and Kakuzu and were one of the first ones on the scene after Asuma died. They all sat there and listened to the man's last words as he died. True, the focus was more on Shikamaru rather than the other two but that's mainly due to him being the only main character outside of Team 7 in Konoha. Is it fantastic writing? No. Is Asuma suddenly being brought up contrived? Sort of. He did have decent exposure in the Chunin Exams and showed up for a bit when Itachi and Kisame came to Konoha, so it's not like we've barely seen him. But the contrived nature is not that contrived, and it's good writing. Especially with how the fights were handled until Naruto showed up. The fights were treated with care and had actual suspense in them. Was the arc fantastic? No. Was it good? Yes. Even good stories have some contrivances and this one had a small one... until Naruto joined the fray, but again.

Again, everything involving Naruto in this arc was bad, but he wasn't focused on that much. Count up Shikamaru's part and compare it to Naruto's part and you realize that Naruto didn't have much involvement in it. Is that bad? Sort of, since after all, the attack is ridiculously powerful but I like to think the less we see of Naruto and the more we see of actual good characters isn't bad at all. And I agree the fucking elemental thing is ridiculously stupid in how it is just now brought up and never seen again, but once again those were Naruto's parts and his training was barely even seen.

I'm perfectly willing to agree pretty much every last one was bad but not this one. This is one of the only good parts of the story and even people who don't like Naruto or don't like Shippuden agree that it is one of the only good parts.

Oh Suigetsu and Karin, you two are the only enjoyable members of Team Snake. Even if you are both a bit dull sometimes.

Okay this is fucking ridiculous, I am honestly annoyed by how fucking short the Ultimate Jutsus are, even the god damned team ones are just mundane as all fucking hell.

I think they were trying to mimic the series in that this is the second part of the series and technically is the same thing, but it is worse in every way possible.

Looking at this game makes me think i should buy the first

The game is better, the storyline fights are much better and the gameplay is smoother and better handled.

The game is great aside from the story mode and the fact the fucking Ultimate Jutsu are fucking boring as hell!

What else is there other than story mode?

Online mode and versus mode.

The story mode is only good when you're doing the special bosses, that's it.
