| ... another 30 minutes of footage, in 3d on the big screen for a limited time only. I don't care about any of that though. What caught my eye, (or ear) was the music; it was Heart of Courage by Two Steps from Hell, the same piece used for the awesome Mass Effect 2 launch trailer.
Just felt like sharing.

| That's pretty cool, I never saw it in 3D so I'll have to go watch this. | |

| It's not worth watching in 3D. I watched it in 3D the first time and there was barely any off screen action. The movie was not directed for 3D, despite the possibility of some crazy ass off screen action. | |

| Of course the movie was directed in 3D. Why the hell do you think Cameron spent a decade working with technology before hand? The 3D effect was perfect because it didn't really on the novelty factor of 3D. It was like when you watched something in HD for the first time. At first you can't help but notice the difference, but eventually it becomes looks natural to the eye and it just enhances the experience without having to constantly draw attention to itself. Quite simply it just made the film look better. | |

The original version's resolution was better. The point was that there was no difference except no real 3D effect and lower quality resolution. With Avatar, I could actually notice all the 3D that was going on and it looked perfectly natural like you described. I got no such thing from the last airbender. EDIT: Oh...Avatar...not the last airbender. DAMN YOU CAMERON!

| The 3d in Avatar was brilliant. It added real depth to the image and was instrumental into drawing you into the world it portrayed. I'm still a little uncertain as to whether or not to see the Special Edition, simply because the original film did everything so well, I can't really see that any extra would be necessary, especially given that most of the deleted scenes we know of were crap anyway.
Oh who am I kidding, I'll go and watch it again, I thought it was great.

| When I see Avatar, I immediately think "The Last Airbender". Yeah, Avatar had amazing 3D. | |
