| Zabuza was boring and dragged on. If I want to see realistic ninja battles I'll go watch something that isn't aimed at kids. Haku was a creep too.
Chuunin Exams was cool and showed all these people with different powers and had the best fights in the series, the Gaara stuff was great, the Tsunade/Orochimaru/Jirachi battle was epic and Sasuke Retrieval had great fights too and had some great emotional scenes to go along with it. Then it fell apart when Naruto confronted Sasuke and completely imploded into terrible crap when Part II started. | |

Completely agree although that shikimaru arc was great in shippuden before naruto showed up >_> If shikimaru was the central character or team gai i'd still be into this. | |

Part 2 I just liked that arc as a whole. The enemies were different the techniques being used weren't the generalised spam or substituion jutsu's that 90% of all fights turn into and someone actually died. Considering how bad part 2 is compared to 1 i thought the fact arc actually had me following naruto for a while was a big achievement, considering i had pretty much lost interest in the series at that point. | |

| Frankly, a lot of stuff with Orochimaru was boring and Jirachi was your generic womanizer. The best people were Kakashi, Kimimaru and Mizuki and after Zabuza you don't see nearly enough of kakashi and Kimimaru barely lasted. Mizuki you barely ever see. | |
