They won't just be CGI, apparently they're going to become live-action during the movie fro whatever arbitrary reason since Jason Alexander is playing Cosmo.

However a good bit of casting they got right was casting Daran Norris as Timmy's Dad.

I meant the actual show

The show is about a neglected and abused child who gets fairy godparents to satisfy all his selfish needs and find out why certain wishes aren't good for you to come true and all that stuff.
