Sure was. Even though you could see the ending happening a few seconds before it actually did, it was still a great way to end the film. Best film of the year so far.

| I'm still a bit cautious of that ending. I know it was left open to interpertation, which is good. So I'm just gonna believe that he's actually in the real world. | |

| What happened to ras al gul? When you die you stay in purgatory in your mind right? So leo went back in to find him does that mean he can go back?
Yes I went to this movie stoned which made grasping the confusion extremely hard.

| I don't see why so many reviewers and people in general say that the plot was hard to follow. I found it quite easy to follow. Also, I really liked the movie, even though it had Leonardo DiCaprio. | |

| No, I didn't find it overly hard to follow. DiCaprio is a great actor, he's shown that a fair few times now, I think he just chose more than his fair share of bad films in his younger years. | |

| Yeah, I don't know why there's still so much hate towards DiCaprio either. It's been years since he was typecasted as the pretty boy. Or maybe it's because he was in Titanic and everything related to Titanic sucks, according to internet rules.
If DiCaprio was as bad as people make him out to be, he wouldn't have had a handful of Oscar nominations throughout the years.

| I never liked him much when he was younger, but he's really matured in the last few years amd he's very watchable now. There were a few people moaning about Ellen Page as well, but I could see no reason to single her out. She was fine. | |

| Ellen Page and DiCaprio were great, it's nice to see someone who was typecasted as the pretty boy so much finally be able to break out of those years of bad acting and show he can actually do a role well.
So leo went back in to find him does that mean he can go back?
They both came back, Leo found him before the plane landed and managed to get them both that kick they needed to wake up. Also I liked how the movie kept me guessing.
"Alright so gravity's gone and he has to start a kick, how's this gonna work?" *He ties everyone up* "And why is he doing this?" *He drags them to the elevator* "OHHHH, I GET IT." *He starts planting the explosives.* "CLEVER MOTHERFUCKER!"

| Just came back from watching it and it was an amazing movie. If it wasn't the year of Toy Story 3, this'd be my movie of 2010. | |

| I just watched it. That fight in the tumbling corridor has to be one of the best cinema fights ever. It was the only moment of the film I was truly amazed by.
Frankly I'm not sure how the ending could work with him still being in a dream. Unless he rebuilt his life how he wanted it to be in his subconscious. But in that case he would know none of it was real, and he's still on the plane, so it can only last so long. He'll have to wake up eventually.

| A homophobe? FUCKING AWESOME, THEY ARE THE COOLEST PEOPLE ON EARTH, HELL YEAH! And for the record, DiCaprio is ugly. Joseph Gordon-Levitt is where it's at.
And Nonny, would you be more amazed had you known that as few special effect scenes as possible were data-animated to make it more realistic?
I can't remember exactly, but I think for the corridor scene, they used "that spinny thing that goes on top of the wobbly bit".

| I assumed they had used a massive gimble rather than digital effects, which is why it was so impressive. Stuff like the city folding in half does look spectacular, but it's harder to be impressed by it because it's obviously not real.
Although that's a slightly different thing, since that's one of those scenes that simple could not be done any other way. It obviously digital wizardry, but only because that's the only thing it could possible be. You can at least be in awe of the spectacle of things like that.
It's different from when something that could have been done practically but is done with CGI instead. That's when it's hard to really care about how amazing it is.
But the corridor scene was brilliant partly because it was clearly a practical effect. As well as just being a great concept, and being very well executed, I was actually thinking during the scene "Holy shit, this is actually real". Which made it even better.
