Y'know....

Although this game does look good going by the trailers and such, I probably won't get it. What I can note though is the disturbing fact that seeing a Toy Story PS3 game having graphics that are almost as good as the first film's is freaky.

Yeah it seems a bit weird, and kinda cool at the same time.

I might have to get this for my nephews though.

Surpass the original film my ass. It looks nice, but I can guarantee that it's technically nowhere near the levels of the first film. With Pixars entire computer processing and rendering plant, which is basically 5'000 computers in a big building, they can just about render Toy Story 1 in real time. Which is impressive on it's own, since it usually takes hours to render each frame of digitally animated movies.

The level custom thing intrigues me.

It may well look very nice. But it just won't up to par with the Toy Story 1 on a technical level. No game is, and until you can fit the equivalent of 5'000 computers worth of rendering power into a console/gaming PC, no game will be.
