Wait, Super Mario Galaxy 2 is coming out in a few weeks?

i played new super marios bros wii the other dy

mario still has his charm
although his taller younger better looking brother deserves some spotlight

I've been downloading some Wii Games. Thinking about getting Super Mario Galaxy to prepare for this, was it fun?

It was fun, but extremely linear and not all that challenging (though I never collected more stars than is neccesary to beat the game).

Much better than Sunshine though.

I guess I'll try it out after I'm done downloading SSBB.

...Yay, another game to add on to the fucking mountain of games I have to finish.

well my friends who like mario said the later stqars get hard towards end game

and apparently the 100 stars gives you the luigi game which is meant to be harder

I played world 8 of new mario bros at Walmart. I WANT IT!!!
And Mario Galaxy I cant wait.

I didn't like SMG. It was extremely easy, linear and boring. Stages, music and enemies were not memorable too. Sunshine was much better.

I probably won't get it for a while. The first one wasn't all that great.

I think people have cranked their nostalgia meters way too high when reviewing this game. It doesn't seem like "Perfect Game" material to me, especially given my experiences with the last game.

Sadly, it's only Whomp's Fortress.
Oh, and one of those Mario-Only stages from Sunshine.

Fuck Sunshine.

Yeah, fuck a great game with huge levels for exploration, amazing environments and a challenging level of difficulty. Let's praise Galaxy for lacking all of the above.

I hope Galaxy 2 is more like 64 and Sunshine, otherwise I doubt I'll be getting it.

what were the 2 player options like in these games?

Never played 2 player, I keep forgetting to bring my wii mote and there arent enough batteries to go around.
